I have Acrobat 9.0 and Mavericks. Both have all updates. All of a sudden when I launch Acrobat a message appears and tells me to launch another part of the Suite. Acrobat still crashes when I open PS, ID, AI etc. Please help!!!!!

Unusual error during installation of Acrobat X Std
Hi all,
Hope someone can help here. I'm trying to install Acrobat X Standard on a 64bit Win7 Pro machine, and I'm getting the following error every time:
I get the Please wait while... message, then immediately the strange error message. I've blanked out the last four numbers, in case they're unique to our installation.
Anyone got any ideas?

When I try to activate my product on line I get error code 160:41 It won't let me activate via the internet
When I go to the activate by telephone option I am given the following information:
Serial Number 1016-1260-2473-1847-6270-3392
Activation Code 2675-2819-8251-5596-1899-3343-6070-4255
Activation Type Repair 160:41
It then asks me to enter a Authorization Code but there is no telephone support
I have posted this before and had no response – I only have 1 day left to activate my product – I have twice contacted Adobe and been directed here but this gets no response – this is really poor service Adobe. Please answer and resolve my problem.

Invalid license key
Pc got a virus - wiped pc before deactivating program - license code was part of a volume license (adobe 9 standard) - did chat with Adobe and they said the license key is good, gave me a link to install and it still has same problem (installing on windows 7 pc)

Blocked plugin
I have mac OSX 10.6.8 with Safari 5.1 . I am getting blocked plugin in a
grey window, since last weekend when I accepted an Adobe update.

This is no use to me because it is for Safari 6 and 7, and there is nothing
concerning Adobe in my Safari Preferences - only Java.
Please reply and tell me what to do. I think when blocked plugin happened

I am currently running windows 8.
I have tried installing it on 2 machines without any success.
After I put in the serial number it said's

Acrobat XI Pro Won't Open on New Computer
I just bought a new MacBook Pro and transferred my old setup from Time Machine backup to the new computer. Now Acrobat Pro XI gives message "Adobe Acrobat Pro cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Acrobat Pro works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X."

I purchased Acrobat xi for Teachers and Students yesterday on Amazon.com as a PC download. I went through the steps to obtain a serial number using my academic email and when I installed Acrobat, I entered the serial number and was given an invalid serial number error. I have attempted to enter the serial number on three occasions without avail. Please advise.

I uninstalled the program from my old computer and re installed it on my new computer. I tried to download the subsequent updates, but I get the message that their is a file missing and it will not allow the download to be installed. What to do other than get new version XI?

Cannot download Acrobat XI under CC
I am still not able to download Acrobat XI using the CC window. The download goes to ~42-43%, then goes to Extracting, then jumps to 84%, then fails.
Win 8.1

Acrobat PRO XI install errors
"This installation package could not be opened.Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
Too funny. And THAT is a Windows error. Adobe software won't "automatically" install correctly on trial basis of Acrobat Pro XI but gives no hint of probs. I even read one solution where the answer casually suggested the user go modify the registry. Most users should NOT make registry changes if they don't know what they're doing, as they can indirectly affect other products.
So what's the answer, here, ADOBE?

Cannot access in browser PDF files unless blank box is closed and then website address is clicked on again in browser address bar and page reloaded.
Uninstalled Acrobat 9, reinstalled, still same problem.

How To update Acrobat 9 STD?
I just got a new laptop, and have removed Acrobat 9 Standard Edition from my old laptop and installed it in the new one, as version 9.0.0. The built-in updater (help==>check for updates...) will not update the product. (It shows message "There are no updates at this time".) Is this because Acrobat 9 is end-of-life, and the update servers have been shut down, or some other issue?
If the update servers are off, can someone provide instructions for updating manually? I've tried downloading the updates from Adobe's FTP site and applying them manually but, no matter what order I try them in, I get the same error: Windows Installer: "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program..."
