Frozen screen on launch

I keep getting this screen on launch of Acrobat DC. I'm on an iMac. My OS is up to date. I've tried rebooting, uninstalling, then reinstalling, twice, and it keeps happening. No error message, just this. Frozen. I can only force quit to close it. HELP. I work with Acrobat for every project!

Hello,

I have a license to Acrobat 9.0 WIN AOO LICENSE THE purchased on November 18, 2009.

I reinstalled windows on the computer where it was installed, and want to install it again, the license is no longer useful.

I have the ID with which the purchase was made, I have the invoice with the following information:

Certificate number xxxxxxxxx

Implementation ID xxxxxxxxx

Serial number win xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

 

 

I want to know if I can reuse the same license.

Hi,

Please I am using my copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional 6 on my old computer and was working great for a very long time but lately I had to recover the laptop to factory image and lost the original source of Adobe acrobat Professional 6 but still have my registration information.

Now please may anyone tell me where to download the version 6 or 6.1 original setup files?

I know it is an old copy but it is very light and fast on my old laptop and I am only scanning for my kids and it has plenty of features that I am not using at all so upgrading to latest version will be very slow on my old laptop.

This laptop is not connected to internet and using windows XP.

Hi there!

Does anyone know how to fix my issue?

Here's the error message I got when I try to install the Acrobat X Pro (CS6) onto my

NoteBook Computer which is running on Windows 10 Traditional Chinese,

Before I install, I did select the non-Unicode region i.e. US, and restarted the computer.

But not success.

Upgraded PC, still using Win7, re-installed CS5.5

I have a trial version of Acrobat DC. I am Australian working in Afghanistan so when I registered it placed my account in Pakistan. Now I a trying to buy but I get a message that I need an account in US. How do you buy the product if you are not from US?

Me acabo de instalar el Acrobat DC de prueba de 1 mes y al finalizar la instalación me ha preguntado si quería abrirlo, he dicho que sí y no ha ocurrido nada. Tampoco lo encuentro en Panel de control. ¿Cómo puedo abrirlo?

Hi!

 

Today I wanted to update my CS6 to CC (Mac OSX 10.10.5). Everything worked fine, exempted Acrobat (Pre version X).

 

It appears: "Please uninstall Acrobat before update to DC".

 

So I uninstalled with the Adobe uninstaller. But now the message appears again and again. The main problem: No chance to reinstall Acrobat X on my system …

Crash of computer which was used for Adobe Acrobat XI software.

Hi. We had a crash of our computer which included the Adobe Acrobat XI software.

 

When trying to install this software on new computer we get this error: "The serial number 1***...***1 is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need ti deactivate another computer witin 30 to use this product."

 

But we can't deactivate the old installation hence the computer crash.

 

How to reactivate our license?

I  have been using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for some years now but suddenly it wants me to install Flash Player. There is nothing in the document that require Flash, so I don't know why the system suddenly need this. As I work inside a Citrix enviroment, I'm not able to install Flash Player. What can I do? Hello,

 

I'm having a problem when I install Adobe Acrobat DC (from my Creative Cloud account), and can confirm it also happens when installing old Acrobat versions (8 and 9, which my school already owns).

 

After Adobe Acrobat DC is installed, as soon as I try to print to physical printers, I get an error:

I can confirm it happens in every computer I have tried as a troubleshooting method (keeping in abidance with the software license).

 

My school printers have the following setup:

-Printers are shared by a Linux server using CUPS.

-Printing is billed by PaperCut software.

 

When we add printers, those are the steps we follow:

-Network printer ("not in the list...").

-Location: https://printerserverfqdn:631/printers/printername.

-CUPS asks for an username and password: username/password.

-The wizard asks for the printer drivers, and then it finishes.

 

You double-click your printer icon, and the spool is shown.

 

After installing Adobe Acrobat, when you double click the printer you get the error popup "Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000005). Access is denied".

 

Fire up printmanagement.msc, navigate to Print Servers -> computer-Name (local) -> Ports. There you'll see the printer port (https://printerserverfqdn:631/printers/printername), right click, select "Configure Port..." and... you'll be asked again for the username/password.

 

Hence, it seems the Adobe Acrobat installer somewhat resets the printer properties, making them "forget" about the username/password that was setup by the IT team.

 

Any advice...? Having to reconfigure every printer for prospective Adobe Acrobat users is not an option...

Problem with storing pdf in word.

I have for a long time been able to put pfds into word document and store them like that. After the update this summer I was not able to store it like a picture (like when you scan a letter that you want to keep on file but you want to see it as soon as you open the word document) When I tryed to do a copy paste into word half of the letters and words disappeard and I havent found a fix for that.

 

After the october 13 th update I am no longer able to move pdf (scanned or created) documents into word. Word freezes and comes up with ole.png this and sometime I cant find package to open this package or something like that. And I am not able to open the pdfs already stored in word documents. How do I fix this??

A couple of months ago I signed up for a trial version of Adobe Acrobat DC on my PC. About a month ago I purchased Adobe Acrobat DC on my PC. Ever since the trial expired, I have been unable to convert documents to PDF, but instead receive the error message, "Your Adobe Trial has expired. Buy now to restore fill access to Acrobat. Hi, I received an ADOBE DC software with a licence on my computer over a month ago. We had an windows software update in at my company, and eversince it does not work. I cannot use any of the tools within Adobe DC, When I click on any of those, I get a pop up window coming up saying that my licence does not cover it. It is very strange, I need to get it fixed urgently and there is noone to find a solution.

Can I have a PHONE NUMBER to talk to someone PLEASE. You have my money but I can't figure this thing out. HELP

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Edu. Version Ongoing Non-Activation Issue

I have had activation issues for 6 months now and had spent about 10 hours troubleshooting this over the phone with Acrobat Tech support.  Then the Acrobat Phone support was shut down and I was only allowed to communicate with online chat support.  I have spend about 20+ hours online with them to try and PERMANENTLY activate my Acrobat XI Pro Edu Version.  It is a waste of my time considering that I have to start over after each time I contact them.

 

The most frustrating thing is that they do not have any correlation of the product to any email addresses that I give them that I have activated on.  (I had changed over to my work email address because my wife is not techie and I have to do all the tech troubleshooting...so to NOT use her email I changed it and registered to mine for easier access.)  Tech support states that I have NO Products associated with ANY email address (even though I have registered repeatedly 50+ times)

 

Regardless, there are NO apps showing up on her email address or my email address.  This is extrememly frustrating when I activate and register this app (LITERALLY) 50 times so far.  I started taking screen shots to prove that I have done all the steps and still get it re-occurring.

 

Here is what I have done:

1) Install the Adobe Acrobat Pro XI Edu Version with the activated serial I was provided via online EDU Verification
            (I have installed this VIA the CD version I bought at BestBuy within 6 months ago))
   a) I have also installed this with the AcrobatPro_11_Web_WWMUI.exe download.
2) After installing and running.  It prompts me to Register.
  a) I register it with my work email that I have setup through Adobe.

3) It runs (seemingly normal) then within minutes to no more than a couple hours it is asking me to Continue Trial OR License the Software. 
4) I Re-License the Software AGAIN by signing in with my email address and re-inputting the same VALID serial number

5) It accepts the serial and runs normally until it doesn't run normally.  Which is Minutes to Hours.  For example 2 days ago I re-registered and re-validated my license 5 times in the morning alone.

 

If you can help that would be great since nobody knows how to fix this very frustrating issue.

Disable Mobile Link popup in Acrobat DC

Is there a way to disable the "you haven't enabled Mobile Link" popup that appears over the top-right corner of the PDF you're viewing periodically? I've seen it, I've read about Mobile Link, and at this time I do not want to use it, thanks. I'm aware that I'm not using it, and don't need to reminded that I'm not using it several times a day.
