Adobe Acrobat DC- Installation Failed - error DW006

I can't save any files in my version of Acrobat DC - just get a blank save as box. So tried to re-install it. Ever since I have had errors installing the software:

 

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW006 ...

What do I need to do? I have quit all the apps and restarted my Mac, but still shows up this error installing.

Acrobat DC User Interface: Way to Change Theme? (Too Bright)

Just installed Acrobat Pro DC -- an first thing I notice compared to my typical darker themes (Windows, Office, and even previous Adobe product versions) is that the user interface is extremely bright. It's like surfing bright webpages, and hard on the eyes.

 

Is there any way to darken the UI (Themes, etc.) ?

Acrobat 8 fails to open with error shbadnewscoming shauthenticationfailed

I cannot get any pdf to open. it starts the launch then brings up a blank login screen. I hit cancel and it gives me the error: shbadnewscoming shauthenticationFailed.

 

It literally was a matter of minutes between working and not working.

 

I am running on a mac OSx 10.9.5. It adobe 8 that came with my CS3 creative suite

 

any help is appreciated!

Hi,  I have the following case. When I try to print (create) a PDF using Office or any other Windows application that can print, I get the following error: "Adobe PDF Settings file read error in :C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings\Standard.joboptions". I tried to do what you have proposed in similar cases but didn't work. I have Adobe Acrobat Standard 10.1.6 and I have had this problem since my update to this version. I cannot print even with different settings than the "Standard.joboptions".

 

Any idea?

Share function broken after update (Andriod)

Hi,

 

After a recent update to the acrobat android version (15.2.0) the 'share' function doesn't seem to work. I've tried to google drive, ES File, GMail. Non of these work.

 

I've also reinstalled the app and tried it on tablet and phone. Android version 5.1 phone and 4.2.2 tablet.

 

I tried uploading a photo from gallery to google drive which is ok, so seem to be the adobe app. This is a major problem as we use acrobat to get sign off forms to get paid. I have no way of sending it anywhere.

 

It works fine on my laptop, but that's no good as we use the Android version being touch screen for the customer to sign.

 

Any work around or way to install the previous version would help, I've changed to not auto update apps now, then will test on spare tablet in the future.

Serial number Acrobat XI Pro

Since 1 year I use Acrobat XI Pro. Offcourse I've paid for this licence and still do. In my Adobat-ID  I cannot find this product and also not the serial number. By trying to use Acrobat the program shows that my try-out-version has ended ? Adobe (in Holland) is not reachable by phone. Who can advise me what to do ? Gijs

Acrobat DC wants to be associated with CC Subscription

I have an OEM version of Acrobat Standard DC classic in standalone mode.

 

When I open up Acrobat, it asks me to sign in using an Adobe ID but when I sign-in using my Adobe ID, it will not sign in and activate since it tells me that "We can't find a subscription associated with this Adobe ID."

 

Since it is a standalone version purchased from Dell then it shouldn't need to be associated with any Adobe ID that has a Creative Cloud subscription assigned to it.

 

What can I do in order to get Acrobat DC to activate without resorting to buying a subscription to CC?

Is there a way to recover my custom stamps folder (Acrobat XI Pro) on a computer when the username used to create the stamps has been altered? The stamp folder that I accessed with new user name only contains the default stamps.

Hi everyone,

 

I've been looking for an answer in other topics and Adobe websites, but it still doesn't seem quite clear to me:

 

Does a customer have downgrade rights if he purchases Acrobat Pro DC 2015 AOO License via TLP program? Or CLP?

If yes, is the procedure of receiving a serial number for Acrobat XI Pro from Adobe's support is the same as per TLP/CLP program policies?

Hello, I am hoping to be able to test updating to APSB15-15 Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.008.20082 for Mac in a test environment before rolling out the patch to potentially thousands of computers. Does anyone know where I can find an earlier version for Mac?  Adobe's ftp site has Acrobat 2015 15.006.30033, which is not applicable to this update.  I am looking for Acrobat Pro DC for Mac earlier than 15.008.20082. If the versions are in line with Acrobat Reader DC, I would expect to find 15.007.20033.  Can anyone help?

I am trying to install a trial version of adobe Document Control Pro and It won't accept my user name and password. I know my user name and password are correct as I can log into Adobe cloud.

I download Acrobat X Pro and all seems to go well. The program installs but when the process is finished Acrobat will not open.

Just as the title says,  After I download and install Acrobat X Pro the program will not open.  Nothing at all happens when I click on the icon.  I even went into the folder where the application file is located and tried to open it from there without any success.  It worked on my computer before but after an upgrade to my motherboard, processor, hard drive, video card and power supply I had to reinstall Windows 7 and Creative Suite 6 which Acrobat X was part of.  All the other programs within CS6 work fine except for Acrobat X Pro.  I tried downloading the Acrobat X Pro file and reinstalling it but no change.  I am at a loss.  Please help.

"Save as" bug with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Ever since I upgraded to Adobe creative cloud I've had a problem with "save as" in Adobe Acrobat Pro and it's driving me crazy!

When I click "save as" I get a blank dialog box with "Save as PDF" in the titlebar - screenshot below.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat but it doesn't fix it.

Has anyone else had this problem and are there any solutions?

I received Adobe Acrobat X Standard when I purchased Adobe Photoshop. Didn't realize I had it. How do I download it? It is asking for a serial number. I went online and the serial number listed is not correct.
