Trying to install Acrobat 9 Pro Windows - Serial nr. problem
I purchased Adobe adobe CS 5.0 Design Standard edition and Acrobat 9 Pro separate installers some years ago.
I have bought it as downloadable software from adobe licensing server, so I don't have physical cd or dvd.
Because my old machine crashed I am trying to install both packages again on clean win 7 machine.
I have my CS 5.0 and Acrobat 9.0 pro serials on Adobe Licensing server:

I can also download and install my CS 5.0 Design Standard edition with no problem.
But I don't have any Acrobat 9.0 Pro option to download.

When I download Acrobat 9 Professional and try to install it, installer refuses to accept my serial nr. "Invalid serial Number" it says.

I downloaded AcroPro90_efg.exe program, but when I read Creative Suite 5 Design Standard Read Me.pdf, it suggests that I extract and install
this installer: APRO0930_win_esd1_xxxx.exe
Could this be the problem, that I don't have the exact version of the Acrobat 9 Pro?
Can you help me please to install Acrobat 9 Pro.

Gray screen in Acrobat DC
Getting a gray blank screen in Acrobat DC. The file previews show up in in the file organization but when clicked to open, Acrobat opens with blank, gray screen.

I got Acobat 10 about 2 years ago. Yesterday, I was asked if I wanted to update and I said "yes". Then when I tired to print a MS Word document I was unable to print; so I deleted updated 10. How do I get my old 10 back, please?

ACROBAT XI PRO error 16 problem
HI,
I tried to install the Acrobat XI pro. But after installation when i tried to run the application it gave me an error that there is problem with the configuration and i should uninstall and then reinstall the application. I have tried that atleast 4 times but didnt work. I tried downloading the new setup and then tried again and it still didnt work. Help needed.

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Error: 16 - no fix yet?
Have downloaded the Adobe Labs cleaner and removed the new install twice, but now my Pro XI will not even open, it simply gives me the Error: 16 death star block.
I have work to do.
Is there a fix?

Bypassing Adobe Acrobat Sign In on first launch of the application
Hi,
I am trying to install a licensed copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC program and is able to do it successfully. However, I would like to disable the part that ask the user to sign-in first to activate the program. I tried using the customization tool and inputted the serial number but for some reason, it fails to create/generate/complete the Grant Offline Exception process. In looking at the logs, it says that it "Failed to validate the serial number (which I know is valid). Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Serial number not valid when trying to install acrobat
This new computer needs my original acrobat. Going thru the on line process got to the serial number part and kept getting rejected. Guess I need a new serial number to proceed.
Is this where I get it?

Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
I purchased and installed Acrobat 8 Professional some years ago and it still meets all my meagre requirements so have not upgraded to a later version.
However, since installing Windows 10, each time I re-boot my computer Adobe returns a message that it cannot access the internet (to re-register ???) although there is full internet available and in use with other programs. Windows also returns a message each re-boot that it is re-configuring Acrobat.
Any advice, please ?

Acrobat X update fail 1406
hi there,
everytime my Acrobat X tries to update I get an error 1406
looking up the error code on Adobe.com (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/update-errors-acrobat-reader-windows.html) suggests I "Log in as administrator and access the appropriate registry key:(Acrobat) HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat " - I'm always logged in as Admin, and can access the key in Regedit, but does not tell me what if anything needs changing.
I don't have Acrobat Reader installed, and I think maybe this is confusing the updater.
Has anyone got any solutions ? I wasted an hour in adobes support chat talking to 3 agents who couldn't help

Acrobat DC wants to update Acrobat Pro X
Since the CC 2015, the CC app is notifying me of an Acrobat DC Update, even though I am on Acrobat 10 Pro. Other CC apps, when they see CS6 apps say "Try", not "Update".
I called and was told not to update, since it's not part of my CC Photography Plan. They said ignore it, and that it might overwrite my legitimate X Pro.
The problem is it alerts about the "Update" every boot, and if I ever hit Update All it could be an issue.
To be clear, I'm not licensed for DC, and have never installed it, just ,pro X.
Anyone else seeing this, or know of a fix?
